Five-Year Limited Warranty
Illuminated signs and channel letters are covered for five years against defects in fabrication, materials, LEDs, and electrical components. Limited labor coverage is included for the first two years.
This warranty excludes damage caused by improper installation, misuse, accidents, unauthorized modifications, inadequate maintenance, or normal wear. All claims are subject to inspection and approval by Advanced Lighting Systems Inc.

What are channel letter signs?
Channel letter signs are three-dimensional, individually fabricated letters — typically metal returns with an illuminated acrylic or polycarbonate face — mounted to a building façade. They're the standard storefront identification sign for retail, restaurant, and commercial accounts, and one of the most frequently quoted products a sign company sells.
What materials are commonly used for channel letters?
Aluminum forms the structural returns and back on most builds, with acrylic or polycarbonate faces and LED module illumination. Stainless steel, brass, copper, and galvanized steel are available for premium or reverse halo-lit construction, depending on the finish and durability the project calls for.
Are channel letters suitable for outdoor signage?
Yes. Built with weather-resistant materials and UL- or CSA-certified electrical components, channel letters are the standard choice for exterior storefront signage across a wide range of climates, from coastal salt air to freeze-thaw winters.
Raceway-mounted or direct-mounted — which should I quote?
Raceway mounting pre-wires the letters to a metal enclosure for faster installation and fewer wall penetrations, which is why it's the default for most storefront jobs. Direct (flush) mounting looks cleaner with no visible enclosure but takes more field time and precise measurements. Every set we manufacture ships with mounting patterns and clearly labeled wiring either way.
Are channel letter signs customizable?
Yes — size, font, color, return depth, and illumination method (front-lit, halo-lit, front-and-back-lit, trimless) are all specified per order, so you can match whatever your client's brand guidelines call for. We manufacture to your artwork, not from a fixed catalog.
